For just one night, the Hyatt Regency turned into a chocolate wonderland – and for a good reason.

EPI Hosted its 37th annual Chocolate ball on Saturday to raise funds that support thousands of people with epilepsy in the region.

The main event was the chocolate cake competition, where nine chefs created elaborate cakes and auctioned them off – raising money for EPI’s camp for kids with epilepsy.

“They have the opportunity to go to summer camp like any other child that is outfitted with nurses and parents can drop their children off for a eek at summer camp, and go home and open a bottle of wine and relax to know that their child is having what might be the happiest experience,” said Marc Palmeiri, author and screen writer.
