Olivia Rowan’s Story

I was diagnosed with Epilepsy when I was in fourth grade, in 1983.

I had Petite mal seizures several times a day. I experienced this for the next seven years. I was burdened with medication and many trips to the hospital. Things were hard and difficult . But we are strong!

It changed my life so much, but we fight back and strive for a normal life. But what is normal. I acquired the name ‘space case’ which made me smile. There is a chance the seizures could come back . And that’s ok. I only have them now during sleep. Life is such a journey isn’t it ? Keep fighting epilepsy warriors!!! We can do it . And encourage and help each other . Love your life. I love mine.
