Beginning in November, ESF will initiate its “Graces’ Hope Hospital Visitation Program.” 10 trained volunteers will meet with families of newly diagnosed children at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa. Congratulations to the volunteers!

    • That is such a wonderful thing. I wish I had that support when we first learned about our daughter.

    Hi Annette,

Yes, Pancreatic Cancer is also purple. Usually they have their events in March. This year they moved it to November. That means the ziggurat will feature both Epilepsy and Pancreatic Cancer when it is lit purple. We had asked for this in September and were given the dates when we would be featured: November 5-9 & 12-16.

If you go to the following site, you will find a photo and write-up on the lighting of the ziggurat in Tampa: http://www.facebook.com/SunTrustLights. The write-up was done by SunTrust. The top of the SunTrust building was lit in purple for the 1st 12 days of November. It was a great way to create awareness for epilepsy. Thanks, SunTrust!
