Head Injuries have been a part of Football, and therefore the NFL, for a long time. Head injuries sustained during time as a ball player have lead to devastating brain diseases and early deaths. Conditions that past NFL players have been diagnosed with after head injury include epilepsy, schizophrenia, narcolepsy, Alzheimer’s, dementia, etc. The list goes on.
